What we keep, and why.
Gachi is still being built, so we keep very little. This page says what that is, where it lives and how to have it removed.
Who we are
Gachi is made by [legal name of the person or company], based in [country]. When this page says "we", it means them.
The waitlist
When you join the waitlist on this site, we save:
- your email address,
- the date and time you joined,
- which form on the page you used.
We use it for one thing: to send you an email when Gachi opens. We don't share it, sell it or use it for ads.
The list is stored with Supabase, our database provider, on servers in Stockholm, Sweden. We keep your email until you ask us to remove it, or until [when the list is deleted after launch], whichever comes first.
The app
The Gachi app is in early testing. Your focus sessions, goms, twinklebabies, nests and to-do list are stored on your phone only. They don't leave it, and deleting the app deletes them.
If you sign in with your email, Supabase keeps your email address so it can send you a sign-in code and keep you signed in. It sits with the waitlist, in Stockholm, until you ask us to delete it.
Visiting this site
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or ad trackers.
Two services see a little about your visit, as any website would:
- Vercel hosts the site and keeps server logs, such as your IP address and browser type, to run and protect it.
- Google Fonts supplies the lettering. Your browser fetches it from Google, which receives your IP address to do so.
Deleting your details
Email temp@gachi.online from the address you signed up with and ask to be removed. We'll delete your email from the waitlist and from app sign-in. You can also ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, the same way.
If you live in the UK or the EU, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Gachi isn't meant for anyone under [age]. If you think a child has given us their email, tell us and we'll delete it.
When this changes
When Gachi opens, it will keep more, such as your rooms, nests and friends, so that people can focus together. We'll update this page before that happens and change the date at the top. If you're on the waitlist, we'll tell you in the email we send at launch.
